The Saint Paul Saints are a tradition in Minnesota’s capital city since 1884. They’ve been part of the Western League, Northwestern League, and American Association, and they’ve played as an independent club. After a 32-years hiatus, in 1992, the team was reborn as part of the Northern League. They’ve been a great success ever since.

The Minnesota Thunder soccer team is now headquartered in Saint Paul. Their new corporate office is only a few miles from James Griffin Stadium, where the team plays its United Soccer Leagues games. The new office will display a Hall of Fame wall, Thunder photos, and all Thunder awards earned throughout their 15-year history in the Twin Cities.

The Saint Paul Bike Classic is an annual mid-September event in Saint Paul. It’s Minnesota’s biggest bike ride. It’s a non-competitive, go-at-your-own-pace tour. For many of the riders, it’s their first tour.

The Twin Cities Marathon has been called the most beautiful urban marathon in America, and for good reason.... The race winds through some of Saint Paul’s and Minneapolis’s most historic and charming neighborhoods, and at the most colorful time of the year. The next marathon event is set for October, 2006.
